PS4 and PC can now connect together, buy a PS4 and enjoy games with your friends on PC from your bed. That's a cool service, and if Xbox don't follow up they would lose sale, just because of that. It is the future to allow cross-platform. those who don't do it will be in a bad position if everyone else does it.
ps4/xbone version doesn't even use servers iirc. It's all p2p for them, I've heared people complaining if the host leaves a public match then it dies. Not just if jason leaves. It's the exact situation PC has, where we were promised dedicated servers for launch, but the entire game is P2P.
